Few areas of traffic congestion reported in the Wyoming Valley this morning

Commuters heading into work for the short workweek this morning should encounter few areas of traffic congestion.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Route 315, while heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.

Downtown, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported at intersections on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. North Main, South Main, North River and South River streets are also reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion.

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
