Other than some isolated areas of traffic congestion, commuters should have a smooth ride during the morning commute.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Route 315, while heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Kidder, Mundy and Spring streets. Highland Park Boulevard is also reporting some isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion near the Wilkes-Barre Township Marketplace.

Downtown, Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are each reporting isolated areas of minor congestion. Isolated areas of minor congestion are also reported on Hazle, North River and South River streets.

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
