Scattered areas of traffic congestion could add a few minutes onto the morning commute today.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.
Downtown, areas of traffic congestion are reported at intersections along Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on North Main, South Main, East Market, South Washington and East Northampton streets.
North River Street is also reporting isolated areas of heavy congestion.
In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
