Heavy traffic congestion is reported in parts of the Wyoming Valley this morning, which could add some time onto the morning commute.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Route 315 is reporting some minor congestion in the area of East Main Street.
Heavy congestion is reported in the southbound lanes of the North Cross Valley Expressway and extending onto Route 115 past East Mountain Boulevard.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Kidder and Mundy streets.
Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Hazle, North Main, East Market and East Northampton Streets are also reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion.
In Kingston, scattered areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
