Commuters could encounter some areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work and school this morning.

A mixture of minor and heavy congestion is reported on Interstate 81 northbound south of Dupont, while isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, while some heavier congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Areas of minor congestion are reported in the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.

Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported at intersections along Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Otherwise, scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Hazle, South Washington, North Main and North River streets.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported throughout Wyoming Avenue. Congestion is also reported on Northampton Street into Edwardsville.
