Isolated areas of traffic congestion are reported this morning, which should do little to slow the morning commute.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Some heavy congestion is reported on Route 315 in the area of East Main Street, but Route 115 is free of traffic congestion.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Widespread minor traffic congestion is reported on the South Cross Valley Expressway in the southbound lanes of travel.

Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Other isolated areas of congestion are reported on Hazle, East Northampton, North River and South River streets.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
