Scattered areas of traffic congestion reported this morning

Commuters could encounter some areas of traffic congestion on the way into work and school this morning.

Some heavy congestion is reported on Interstate 81 south of Dupont, while scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115, but the North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion.

The South Cross Valley Expressway is reporting scattered areas of minor traffic in the southbound lanes.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of heavy traffic congestion are reported on Scott Street.

Downtown, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, as well as on East Northampton Street. Areas of minor traffic congestion are also reported on Hazle, East Market, North Main, North River and South River streets.

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
