Some areas of minor traffic congestion could add some time onto the commute this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Some minor congestion is reported on Route 315 in the area of East Main Street, but Route 115 is free of congestion.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Widespread minor congestion is reported in the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of minor congestion are reported on Mundy, Kidder and Spring streets.

Downtown, isolated areas of heavy traffic are reported at intersections of Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Hazle Street is also reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion, while North Main, South Main, East Market, West Market and South River streets are all reporting scattered areas of minor congestion.

In Kingston, areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Pierce Street, while isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
