Whether you’re planning a picnic or just a walk through the neighborhood, the forecast this weekend will cater to those outdoor activities.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 40 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 62. Clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 35.

Sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, and clear skies into Saturday night. The high will be near 65, while the low into Saturday night will be around 40.

Sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 70. Clear skies are predicted for Sunday night, with a low around 44.
