The morning commute into work and school could be delayed by some areas of scattered minor and heavy traffic congestion.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while some minor traffic congestion is reported on Interstate 476 south of the exchange in Dupont.

Minor traffic congestion is reported on Route 315 in the area of East Main Street, as well as on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, some minor and heavy traffic congestion is reported on Kidder Street. Closer to the downtown area, Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard is reporting areas of heavy congestion from Highland Park Boulevard to East Northampton Street.

Downtown, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Hazle Street is also reporting some scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion.

South Main, East Market, North River and South River streets are also reporting scattered areas of traffic congestion.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
