Aside from a slight chance of snow showers tonight and into Friday, the forecast for the Wyoming Valley looks quiet.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 20 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 36. Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight, along with a 20 percent chance of snow showers after midnight. The low will be around 26.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Friday, along with a 20 percent chance of snow showers before noon. The high will be near 34. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Friday night, with a low around 21.

Partly sunny skies are expected for Saturday, with a high near 35. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 29.

Partly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high climbing to 46. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Sunday night, with a low around 34.
