Police are looking for a 39-year-old West Pittston man who allegedly led police on a high-speed chase involving multiple police departments Monday morning, according to Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis.
Joseph Lombardo is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and may be armed and dangerous, Salavantis said.
The district attorney released photos of Lombardo and the vehicle he was last seen driving and asked anyone with information to contact Pittston Police at 570-654-2425 or West Pittston Police at 570-655-7780.
According to Salavantis:
Police from Pittston and West Pittston tried to serve a bench warrant on Lombardo around 9 a.m. at 530 Exeter Ave., West Pittston, because he is wanted by the county sheriff’s office on theft charges.
As police approached, Lombardo allegedly fled the scene and led police on a high-speed chase involving multiple police departments.
He was last seen in a gold-colored 2008 GMC Acadia with a Pennsylvania license plate JSZ9683 heading west in the vicinity of Eighth Street in Wyoming.
