The Wyoming Valley could see some rain and snow this week, as well as slightly warmer temperatures.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 13 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 34. Partly cloudy skies will carry over into tonight, with a low around 26.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Tuesday, along with a slight chance of freezing rain in the morning followed by a chance of rain throughout the day. A 30 percent chance of rain is predicted, with less than a tenth of an inch of rain possible. The high will be near 40.

A slight chance of rain will be possible before 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, followed by a chance of some snow showers into the overnight hours. The low will be around 29.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 35. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, with a low around 19.
