Commuters should expected some traffic congestion, along with some potentially icy conditions, on the way into work this morning.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476. Areas of minor congestion are also reported on Routes 315 with heavy congestion in the area of Juniper Street. Route 115 is reporting minor traffic congestion near East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of scattered minor and heavy congestion are reported on Kidder and Mundy streets.
Downtown, scattered areas of congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard extending onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Heavy congestion is reported on East Market Street near North Pennsylvania Avenue.
Heavy congestion is reported on the Market Street bridge, while North and South River streets are reporting scattered areas of minor traffic congestion.
In Kingston, areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
