Christmas Day morning commute should be swift

The trip to grandma’s house this morning for Christmas Day festivities should be a smooth ride.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476, along with Routes 315 and 115.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is also free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Downtown is generally quiet, but some scattered traffic congestion is reported on Wilkes-Barre and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevards. Heavy congestion is also reported on the Market Street Bridge.

Kingston is generally free of traffic congestion, but some heavy traffic is reported on Market Street near the Market Street Bridge.
