DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 24:

MONDAY: Baked pork chop, broccoli, noodles and cabbage, orange, chocolate chip cookie, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Fish almondine, scalloped potatoes, snap peas, whole wheat dinner roll, rice krispie, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Baked whole wheat spaghetti, Italian vegetable medley, Italian wedding soup, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Chicken paprikash, cauliflower and red pepper, buttered noodles, cherry cobbler, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Stuffed cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, crackers, cottage cheese and peaches, milk and coffee.
