LEHMAN TWP. — Lake-Lehman School District will offer a Kindergarten Readiness Program for the 2017-2018 school year starting this fall.
This program is broken into four segments throughout the year. Activities are provided for both the child and parent to instill a sense of comfort and familiarity for their first elementary experience. The orientation provides information concerning nutrition, reading, math, health and the registration process in preparing children for kindergarten.
This program is intended for children who will enter kindergarten in the 2017-2018 school year. Children entering kindergarten must be age 5 before Sept. 1, 2017. Call the appropriate elementary school to register:

The programs are as follows. All programs begin at 9 a.m.
Nutrition: At the first program, parents and children will have lunch at the school. The breakfast and lunch process will also be explained.
Lehman-Jackson Elementary: Tuesday, Oct. 25
Lake-Noxen Elementary: Wednesday, Oct. 26
Ross Elementary: Thursday, Oct. 27
Reading Readiness: The second program will offer reading strategies and interventions to prepare children for kindergarten.

Lake-Noxen Elementary: Wednesday, Nov. 16
Ross Elementary: Thursday, Nov. 17
Math Readiness: The third program suggests math strategies and interventions parents may use with their child in preparation for kindergarten.

Lake-Noxen Elementary: Wednesday, Dec. 14
Ross Elementary: Thursday, Dec. 15
Health and Introduction to Registration: There will be an explanation of the registration process and health-room procedures.
