DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 3:

MONDAY: Roast beef, cauliflower and peas, roasted red potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, pears and apricots, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken and biscuits, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, banana strawberry gelatin.

WEDNESDAY: German Day Special Dinner: To be announced – call local center for menu.

THURSDAY: Rotisserie style turkey, green and wax beans, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, oatmeal raisin cookie, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Shredded pork on whole wheat sandwich roll, coleslaw, vegetable soup, vanilla ice cream, milk and coffee.
