DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Sept. 26:

MONDAY: Whole wheat penne with meat sauce, italian green beans, Italian wedding soup, sorbet, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Lemon pepper chicken, garlic spinach, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, blushing pears, margarine, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Oven fried chicken, roasted red potatoes, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cauliflower and peas, whole wheat dinner roll, watermelon, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Frank and beans, beef vegetable soup, cucumber dill salad, crackers, cottage cheese and berries, milk and coffee.
