Patchy fog will give way to partly sunny skies today and temperatures will climb into the low 80s, according to the regional forecast from the National Weather Service in Binghamton, New York.

The high is expected to be around 83 for the Independence Day holiday. Clouds will increase throughout the day. There is a 50-percent chance of precipitation tonight with isolated showers then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11 p.m. The low will be around 64.
