DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of June 13:

MONDAY: BBQ roast pork, green beans, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Hamburger on whole wheat sandwich roll, cheese, tomato basil soup, seasoned potato wedges, melon cubes, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Chef salad with chicken, potato salad, whole wheat dinner roll, mandarin orange delight gelatin, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Pork chop, roasted red potatoes, broccoli and carrots, whole wheat dinner roll, orange, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Fathers’ Day Celebration: Pulled pork sandwiches, whole wheat roll, cucumber salad, baked beans, birthday cake, milk and coffee.
