DALLAS — Area tweens and teens are invited to join an age-appropriate reading group at the Back Mountain Memorial Library this summer.

The Donuts & Discussion group will once again be led by staff member Margaret Susko and will accept students 9-12 years of age. Books to be discussed include “Maniac Magee,” “Rules,” “The Single Shard” and “The Penderwicks,” a summer tale of four sisters, two rabbits, and a very interesting boy.

The young adult reading group will be moderated by Pat Jachimowicz, and teens 13 years and older may join this group. A resident of Lehman Township, she was the facilitator for Lake-Lehman’s gifted program and later taught language arts and social studies for Lake-Lehman School District.

The young adult group will meet 6 p.m. Monday, June 13 to discuss the books they would like to read during the summer. Both groups will meet at the library at 6 p.m. June 27, July 11, July 25 and Aug. 8. Donuts and refreshments will be served. Call the library to register for either group.
