DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of May 23:

MONDAY: Herb and lemon fish, vegetable barley soup, stewed tomatoes, macaroni and cheese, double chocolate chip cookie, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken fajita salad with tortilla chips, southwestern corn salad, rice pudding, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Yankee pot roast with vegetables, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, oatmeal raisin cookie, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Chicken almondine, Italian green beans, parsley boiled potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, blushing raspberry peaches, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Salisbury steak, broccoli & red peppers, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, fruit yogurt, milk and coffee.
