For the most pat, traffic is flowing freely throughout the region at the start of the weekend, with moderate-to-high congestion at a few high-use intersections.
Interstates 81 and 476 are clear of any major problems, as is the Cross Valley expressway through Wilkes-Barre. There is moderate congestion at the exit and entry ramps of 81 near Pittston Crossing at exit 175.
Highland Park Boulevard shows some congestion near the Wilkes-Barre Township marketplace, the intersection with Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard, and after become Coal Street when it meets with Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.
