LEHMAN TWP. — A physical altercation between a Lake-Lehman Junior-Senior High School teacher and a student was reported to the police department Wednesday, March 23.
Lehman Township Police Sgt. Mark Liparela confirmed the mid-morning incident resulted in the “high school principal and assistant principal” notifying the police department “as per their policies and procedures,” he said in an email.
The incident, which involved a male teacher and a male student, has resulted in an ongoing police investigation.
“No charges have been filed,” Liparela said in the email.
James McGovern, the superintendent of Lake-Lehman School District, was unavailable to comment further about the incident.
