This month, the Back Mountain Chamber (BMC) highlights its many construction, real estate, finance and banking members that support our chamber goals and provide services to the Back Mountain community.

Our construction and real estate members include: Abstract Resources Inc., AIG Financial, All Mechanical Service, Bath Fitter, Century 21 Smith Hourigan, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services – Poggi Realtors, Dominic’s Equipment Rental, Sales & Service Inc., Ecenrode Electric, Friedman Electric, Humford Equities, Lewith & Freeman Real Estate, Mark J. Sobeck Roof Consulting Inc., McDermott & McDermott, Milazzo Industries, Mt. Zion Materials Handling Equipment, Northeast Recycling Solutions, Phasor Corporation, Pikes Creek Site Contractors, Rinker Generator, Rutkoski Fencing Inc., and Sherman’s Sheds, Summit Pointe Builders.

All these fine organization are working together to make the Back Mountain region a thriving, healthy and prosperous community, in which we can work and raise our families. Support our members that support our community and make the Back Mountain our home.

Upcoming events

The BMC will hold its Annual Community Business Expo from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Misericordia University. The expo is an opportunity for businesses, and non-profits to interact with a substantial cross-section of the public, and provides the opportunity for business of all sizes to display their products and services. Following the expo at 6:45 p.m. in the Lemmond Theater at Misericordia University, there will be a presentation on the history of Harveys Lake by local historian Bill Bachman. All are invited to attend.

The Back Mountain Chamber Board of Directors will meet at the Back Mountain Regional EMS Center at 4 p.m. Thursday March 31.
