Mr. and Mrs. Michael Messersmith, of Dallas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Fleming Messersmith, to Lee Christoff, Wheaton, IL.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Wyoming Seminary. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Amherst College, Amherst, MA in 2011 and a Masters in Theology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL in 2013. She is employed as a Junior High Student Ministry Associate with College Church, Wheaton, IL , and as a Corporate Recruiter Research Associate with McMaster-Carr, Elmhurst, IL.
The prospective groom is the son of Lou Tempesta,of Colchester, VT, and Soo Christoff, of Sanibel, FL. He graduated summa cum laude with a finance degree from the Warrington College of Business Administration of the University of Florida in 2006 and is a licensed CPA. He then earned a J.D. degree from DePaul Law School, Chicago, IL in 2009 and is a member of the Illinois Bar. He is employed as Manager for Corporate Strategy with Sears Holding Company, Hoffman Estates, IL.
The couple, engaged on Feb. 18, 2015, will exchange wedding vows on Aug. 22, 2015 at College Church, Wheaton, Illinois.
