DALLAS TWP. — Misericordia University’s Dead Alchemist Society will hold the 26th annual ‘Things that Go Boom in the Night!’ event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, on campus.

The free public event will include members of the Dead Alchemist Society offering hands-on demonstrations of seasonal experiments from 5 to 7 p.m. in rooms 218-219 of Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall on the Misericordia campus

The official show begins at 7 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater, rain or shine.

Some experiments include making slime and super bouncy balls.

New experiments will include pumpkin makeovers, vomiting and fiery pumpkins. Faculty members in the Misericordia University Department of Physics also will provide telescopes for moon and stargazing and offer a variety of physics demonstrations throughout the evening.
