WILKES-BARRE — Allied Services Heinz Rehab recently announced the winners of the 2017 Allied Services Rose Brader Scholarships. The Volunteer Auxiliary of Allied Services Heinz Rehab established the Rose Brader Scholarship to contribute to the health care needs of the community by encouraging and providing financial assistance to those students that wish to pursue an education in the field of rehabilitation medicine. The fund is named in honor of Rose Brader, a former director of Volunteer Services at the Heinz Rehabilitation Hospital. The Volunteer Auxiliary has been awarding the scholarships since 1990. Scholarships are awarded to Luzerne County Residents pursuing a career in the rehabilitation field.
