The Dallas Lions Club honored Joelle Serafin and Maria Pino with $500 book scholarships at a dinner meeting with the club at the Checkerboard, Trucksville. Serafin, a graduate from Dallas, plans to attend Luzerne Community College for graphic design. Pino graduated from Holy Redeemer and plans to attend Empire Beauty School to become a cosmetologist.
