Luzerne County Envirothon winners announced

A team of students from MMI Preparatory School, Freeland, took first-place at the 38th annual Luzerne County Envirothon at the Luzerne County Fair Grounds, near Dallas. They will compete at the PA State Envirothon at the University of Pittsburgh, at Johnstown. Nearly 146- students representing 30- teams, from seven different high schools, competed. E.L. Meyers Team A placed second and Greater Nanticoke Area Team C placed third.
