Marcus Wagner, Shavertown, a biology major, Class of 2017 at Ursinus College in Collegeville, was awarded an undergraduate summer research fellowship by the American Physiology Society for a project titled “The Effects of Multiple Pregnancies on the Murine Heart: Are changes in pregnancy-induced cardiac function exacerbated after multiple pregnancies?”
Wagner is one of just 24 Fellowship recipients from a worldwide applicant pool and the only awardee who will be completing his research project at a liberal arts college.
