Dallas Lions Club recognizes Frontier Communications

The Dallas Lions Club presented a plaque of appreciation to Frontier Communications of Dallas for their five year participation in the Dallas Lions Club Hometown Heroes Project that honored local servicemen and women and veterans. The banner program started in 2011 with 24 banners throughout the borough. This one-year project has increased to 120 banners over the past five years and will be terminated this year. Banners will be returned to family members and sponsors at a time and place to be determined. At the plaque presentation, from left, are: Russ Johnson, general manager, Frontier; Lions Joe Czarnecki, David Spring, Robert Shaffer, Wayne Devine, local manager of Frontier; Don Berlew, Lion project chairman; Steve Martin and Ken Dailey from Frontier and Lions Frank Rollman and Joe Dwinchick. Not available: Lion Joe Canfield, project co-chairman.
