Stanley Baranowski celebrated his 98th birthday with many friends and relatives recently at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse at Mohegan Sun Pocono, Plains Township. A veteran of World War II, Baranowski is the last surviving member of four Baranowski men who served during the war. He now resides in Kingston, but much of his life was spent on an 80-acre farm in the Back Mountain. Certificates from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives signed by representatives Aaron Kaufer and Karen Boback and the Pennsylvania State Senate signed by Sen. Lisa Baker were presented at the party. Shown are, from left, Dorothy, Roseann, Stanley, and Mary Baranowski.
