DALLAS — The Dallas school board approved the appointment of Nicole Pekarski to head girls soccer coach on Monday. Pekarski was a former assistant coach and a past player at Dallas High School.
Pekarski replaces Abe Lewis who was part of the Mountaineers’ program for 14 seasons. Dallas won the WVC Division 1 title and finished the season 11-1 in conference play. The Mountaineers lost in the District 2 Class 3A semifinals to Crestwood, 2-1.
