DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of March 14:

MONDAY: Turkey sausage, home fries with peppers and onions, French toast, strawberries, cottage cheese, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Meatballs on a whole wheat club roll, Italian wedding soup, mixed vegetables, fruit cocktail, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken salad on whole wheat sandwich roll, broccoli slaw, potato salad, rice krispie treat, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: St. Patrick’s Special Dinner: Corned beef, steamed cabbage with caraway, steamed carrots and potatoes, rye bread, cream de menthe parfait, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Beef and bean chili, mixed vegetables, cornbread, birthday cake, milk and coffee.
